Genesis 22: 1-13, Romans 8:31-32

Let us think about Christmas in terms of God’s command to Abraham.
Abraham and his wife had no children. But God, as He had promised, gave him a
son when he was hundred years old. After waiting for so long, it was Isaac who was finally given to them. But God commanded him to offer Isaac as a burnt sacrifice. Abraham obeyed God by faith, and when he was about to kill his son, the angel of the Lord stopped him. The Lord recognized his faith that he had not spared even his own only begotten son! Abraham did not have to offer his only son, but God later gave us His only son, Jesus! Jesus was born as a human.
That’s what Christmas is all about. And God did not spare even His own Son, but judged and delivered Him up to death as a substitute of us humans.
If so, we should remember two things:
First, God will bless us!
Second, God will walk on our side!
The Lord, who did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up to death, walks
with us always. Let us walk trusting in Him with all our hearts!
<The Word of the Bible>
He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not
also with him graciously give us all things?
