1 Corinthians 15: 19-20
April 20th 2025, Third Holy Day of the Month
 Rev. Tadashi Nagae, Pastor

It is essentially impossible for a dead person to rise from the dead. However, Christ's tomb was empty. And the Lord rose from the dead on the third day. Many people witnessed the resurrected Lord. The disciples who met the risen Lord were changed as if they were different men. Let us learn about the blessings of those who believe and walk in the Lord.

First, there is hope after death. Our lives are not finished with death, but after that people will go to either hell or heaven. Those who have been saved have the hope of going to heaven where God is, and meeting our brothers and sisters who had been called before us.

Second, the living Lord walks with us. We do not worship a dead person. He is alive and walking with us even today.

Third, we can trust in the promises of the living Lord. The promises of the living Lord are also living (valid), powerful, and sure to be fulfilled. We can trust in the promises of the Lord and walk in it

How much are we aware of and trusting in the resurrected Lord, who still lives and works and walks with us? Let us walk our lives as we have this love of God and hope in our heart!

<The Word of the Bible>
If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied. But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.
