Mark 10:13-16
November 17th 2024, Third Holy Day of the Month
Tadashi Nagae, Pastor
I am grateful that the Lord has given many children to our church.
Why is ministry to children important?
First, children have very soft hearts. Children are very obedient, so it is necessary for them to hear the gospel and be saved even one day earlier when they are young.
Second, the Word told to them when they are children will affect them for the rest of their lives. The Word they learn as children will remain in their hearts, and they will walk by the Word as their standard and grow spiritually.
What can we do for children? I think there are many, but we learn the following
three things:
First, bring them to the Lord.
Second, tell them the importance of fearing the Lord.
Third, show them the faith of parents who serve the Lord.
Many people have been influenced by their Christian parents, and their faith has
been strengthened. Let us tell the Word to our children, grandchildren, and
the younger brothers and sisters in the church, and show them good examples. And let us fulfill the responsibilities that the Lord has given to many children!
<The Word of the Bible>
But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let he children
come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.”
Mark 10: 14 (English Standard Version)
