Mark 1:35-38
January 5th 2025, First Holy Day of the Month
Tadashi Nagae, Pastor
It is wonderful to be able to worship the Lord every Sunday. Similarly, it is
wonderful to have fellowship with the Lord every day. What blessings are
there when having fellowship with the Lord as we walk our lives?
First, we can learn the Lord’s guidance. Through His Word and the work of the Holy Spirit, the Lord leads us to the path of His will. It is a blessing to walk with the Lord’s guidance, not relying on our own wisdom or experience.
Second, we can receive the Lord’s peace and wisdom. Last year, there were
various problems and times when our hearts were troubled. The Lord gives us
His special peace, and wisdom from above. These are very necessary for us.
Third, we can be shown by the Lord what we should repent. Even if we are saved,
sometimes we go astray and walk in a way that strays from God’s will. If we are in fellowship with the Lord, He tells us what we should repent. When we respond to His voice and repent daily, we can get prepared and grow on.
Let us make it our top priority to have fellowship with the Lord this year!
<The Word of the Bible>
And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed.
