Psalm 103: 1-5
December 29th 2024, Fifth Holy Day of the Month
Rev. Tadashi Nagae, Pastor
This is the last Holy Day worship of this year. We have received many blessings from the LORD, but we tend to forget and grumble. However, the Word of God tells us “forget not all his benefits”. What do we need to do in order not to forget the His blessings and to walk in gratitude to Him?
The first is to remember the grace of salvation every day. We tend to judge whether we are happy or not according to our circumstances. However, they are all changeable. The greatest blessing of us is salvation. Salvation never changes. We must recall the grace of being saved as we walk our daily lives.
The second is to be aware of the blessings that are given from the LORD. We should not look at the superficial situations, to get happy or sad. It is important to discover and notice the blessings that the LORD is giving us in our daily lives.
The third thing is to believe in the LORD's promises and see the blessings with our eyes of faith. When we are in the midst of difficulties, we tend to be complaining and fearful. But let us remember the LORD's promises at that time. It is important to see the blessings with the eyes of faith and also see what the LORD prepares for us ahead.
Let us keep our eyes on the LORD's blessings through faith and walk always thankful to the LORD!
