1 Samuel 30:10
October 27th 2024, Fourth Holy Day of the Month
Tadashi Nagae, Pastor
I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for always gathering for our worship services faithfully! We offer them every Sunday, and let us check again how we should prepare for them.
First, let us pray and prepare. Our worship service begins at 10:30, but actually,
it has already started before that. Although the fellowship with other brothers and sisters is fun, let us be seated five minutes before the service, quiet our mind,
and pray to the Lord as we wait.
Second, let us wait eagerly for the Lord to speak to us! Samuel said,
“Speak, for your servant hears.” If we expect the Lord and wait for Him
eagerly with such humble, hungry and thirsty hearts to His words, He will bless us in a special way and speak to us abundantly.
Third, let us worship the Lord with a heart of dedication! The basis of worship is offer to the Lord. We offer praises and offerings from the bottom of our
hearts. Let us listen to the Word with an offering heart, and respond to the Word
with an offering heart.
The Lord richly blesses those who worship Him with a righteous heart and
preparation, and He pours out many blessings to them. Let us have the right
mindset for today’s worship service as well!
<The Word of the Bible>
And the LORD came and stood, calling as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”
And Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant hears.”
